Administer bronchodilators

Apply low flow oxygen

Utilize the SMI every 1-2 hours while awake

Dangle or sit the client up the day of surgery if MD orders permit

Apply sequential compression stockings

Administer enoxaparin per MD order

Perform ankle exercises while in bed
